ARS Claims and Billing Assistance Process

To request payer-specific coding and claims submission information:

1. Call ARS at 1-800-477-6472 to speak with a designated reimbursement specialist experienced with payers in your area.
2. The reimbursement specialist will call the payer to verify coding and claims submission requirements for the medication and associated services. On occasion, it is necessary to request this information from the payer on a patient-specific basis.
3. To support patient-specific discussions, a signed patient HIPAA form or a completed Benefit Verification Request Form will be required.
4. The reimbursement specialist will fax a summary of the findings to the healthcare provider, including detailed coding claims submission requirement within 2 business days and follow up with a phone call to discuss the information.
5. During the call, the healthcare provider may request that the reimbursement specialist review a copy of a completed claim form prior to submission to the payer.
