If you have a patient that needs help accessing Protopic, starting the process is easy. Just follow these steps to find out if your patient qualifies for the Astellas Access ProgramSM to receive Protopic at no cost.

1.

Log-on to Astellas eService.

  • If you do not have an account, it is easy to set up. If you need technical assistance to set up an account or for help with your existing eService account, please call ARS at 1-800-477-6472.
2.

Select "Initiate Access Application" and provide the required information.

  • Requests must be submitted by the prescribing physician or by an authorized facility employee.
3. If the patient meets the eligibility criteria, they will be enrolled into the program. Both the patient and the healthcare provider will receive notification of enrollment.
4. Patients that are enrolled in the Astellas Access ProgramSM will receive their Protopic shipment within 3-5 business days of approval notification.

 

We strongly encourage healthcare providers to work with their patients to enroll in the Astellas Access ProgramSM on a proactive and timely basis. However, we understand that occasionally patients contact their healthcare provider with an immediate need to access Protopic due to insurance changes or inability to afford their co-payments.
