Reimbursement specialists at Astellas Reimbursement ServicesSM (ARS) are experienced in assisting healthcare providers with securing prior authorization if required by a patient's payer. They are available to support the provider's practice or facility through every step of the prior authorization process.
Reimbursement specialists will verify payer-specific prior authorization requirements and provide detailed guidance to initiate the authorization process as part of a patient-specific benefit verification.
Reimbursement specialists will track the processing and determination status of a prior authorization request at the payer and provide status updates to the healthcare provider throughout the process.
Please note that while reimbursement specialists at ARS may not submit prior authorization requests on behalf of a medical provider, they will guide the provider in the process to support streamlined patient access.
